We have found the use of parental questionnaires to be highly effective in gathering parents’ opinions about the school and to help us continue to improve performance. This has allowed us to respond to the comments as we continue to look for ways to improve the school further.
You now have an opportunity to make your views known to Ofsted using a service called Parent View.
Parent View consists of 12 short questions about the school, such as the quality of teaching, whether the level of homework is appropriate, how well we deal with bullying, and whether you would recommend the school to other parents.
Ofsted inspectors will consider parents’ views alongside other evidence when making a judgement about the school at the next inspection. It is also useful for us because it gives valuable information about what you think of the school and helps us to improve.
Please do take a few moments to log onto the ParentView site and complete the questionnaire. You will simply need to enter an email address and choose a password to register.
You can give your opinion of the school at any time during the year. At the time of the next inspection, you will have an opportunity to refresh or resubmit your views.
